Blaming the Victims ... Because They're Total Wusses  —  The last time we checked in with NRO's John Derbyshire, he was expounding on his own hypothetical bravery regarding Iranian hostage-takers.  Today, we learn that he also is completely fearless in imaginary domestic scenarios as well:

Virginia Tech Killer Identified  —  Cho Seung-Hui, 23-Year-Old Student, Left 'Distrubing Note'  —  We now know the identity of the killer at Virginia Tech.  —  He is Cho Seung-Hui, a 23-year-old resident alien of the United States, as first reported by ABC News.

Sources: College gunman left note  —  BLACKSBURG, Va. — The suspected gunman in the Virginia Tech shooting rampage, Cho Seung-Hui, was a troubled 23-year-old senior from South Korea who investigators believe left an invective-filled note in his dorm room, sources say.

Centreville Student Was Va. Tech Shooter  —  A 23-year-old English major from Centreville was the gunman who killed 32 people and then himself on the Virginia Tech campus yesterday — the deadliest shooting rampage in modern U.S. history, university and law enforcement officials said.

Blaming Charlton Heston  —  With a view to Monday's deadly shooting rampage at Virginia Tech, European newspapers are blaming the lack of gun control measures in the United States and implying that Charlton Heston is indirectly responsible for the scope of the killings.
