From the McCain party...  McCain supporters have already arrived at the charming Hibernian Society building here near the corner of Meeting and Broad streets ("The Four Corners of Law") in downtown Charleston.  —  No sign of the candidate, but the cameras are in place on a riser facing a ginormous American flag.

Pelosi pushes gourmet menu  —  The processed cheese has been replaced with brie.  The Jell-O has made way for raspberry kiwi tarts and mini-lemon blueberry trifles.  Meatloaf has moved over for mahi mahi and buns have been shunted aside in favor of baguettes.
