Live-Blogging The “Strangers With Candy” Debate  —  10.40 pm.  To my mind, Obama dominated Romney tonight in every single way: in substance, manner, style, and personal appeal.  He came back like a lethal, but restrained predator.  He was able to defend his own record, think swiftly on his feet, and his Benghazi answer was superb.

‘An Act of Terror’?  —  President Obama claimed tonight that he called the Benghazi attack an act of terror the day after it occurred, in the Rose Garden.  Mitt Romney seemed skeptical, and asked him whether he stood by that statement — that he'd called it terrorism, rather than a spontaneous act arising out of a demonstration.
